BCS 10/10 project

October 18, 2019

Maintaining the outside areas of a house can be a huge challenge. And when a garden becomes overgrown it can be overwhelming and seem impossible to know where to start. In response to this, each year the Belconnen Community Service hosts the 10/10 project. It's a simple concept: for one day every spring, 10 teams of 10 volunteers tackle 10 (or so) overgrown gardens in the Belconnen area.

This morning I joined a team at this house in Melba. Look at the difference we were able to make in just three hours! 🌷🌿🌳

Thanks to BCS for providing the opportunity - proof that many hands really does make light work.
